Small Black Bird

I picked up this baby mynah on the middle of the road when I was waiting for a bus. I thought it was some rock. It probably fell from a tree when learning how to fly. Stood motionless, think frozen in fear,somemore a monster(me) came a carry it away.

Placed the bird in the bushes so the mother can bring it back home. I heard the frantic chirps of the mother when I picked the chick up, hey its better than seeing ur chick squashed by a bus right?

Bangkok Trip

My first own travel experience with Beven,Zhiyong,Glen and Pocky.
The Budget terminal in Singapore. I swear it can be mistaken for a third world airport.
Day 1:

My breakfast on the first day. I had insomia...could'nt sleep and afraid that I will wake Glen up when i toss and turn. I finally woke up at 8 am to go out for a walk. While trawling the streets, I bought Ovaltine, prata and yu jia kuay. Its dirt cheap(prata 20 cents yu teow .02 cents). But it taste wierd...the prata is not crispy...because its not freshly made and accompanied with condensed milk. The yu teow....abit salty and no soy bean milk to dip it in.

Went to Siam Paragon to meet up with Pocky in the afternoon after our brunch. Its soooo big and nice. Not so packed like Ngee Ann city in Singapore. The toilet is beautiful too,check it out below.


The garden at paragon. Each parapet over the water belongs to a cafe and it would be nice to sit in the garden of eden, listen to the water.
Pocky drove to Pattaya....its a long long journey beacause of the jam. And there wasnt much to see. Probably we went to the wrong side of the beach,by the time we reached there, it was already evening(and we departed BKK at noon).

Day 2:

Did our official shopping at Siam on the 2nd day but we parked at Paragon because its free parking. Another shopping center had first 2 hour free and it can be extended for an hour for every 100baht spent. So I bought a conditioner and didnt have to pay. Its better to buy something to use rather than give it to parking attendants.Shame on Singapore, dont have free parking.

Day 3:

Crossing over to Chatuchak market.

The bottle of orchids I bought. $12 SGD and there are 40 shoots inside. Ive planted them,just waiting for them to grow. Dont ask me how I managed to get it back.


Lights for sale at Suan Lum night bazaar, only $20 SGD each...but I got no place to place them. Wait until i got my own place I'll head back to purchase some carpets,paintings,lighting etc.

Domestic Progress Package

Ok my parents are not that bad after all. Woke up today to find $150 stuffed in my wallet. And this morning I scolded them for disturbing me while I was sleeping...

My mum called in the afternoon. Twice! Repeated what she told me yesterday. Wah lao TMD lor sor. Im not going to pick up any phone calls already!

Now she sent me a full sms nagging again! I got to get out of the country fast!

I replied ' Ya! Please stop calling me!'

Im heading to Bangkok tomorrow for 5 days, its only 5 days! And my parent are getting overly concered over it. My Dad asked if I bought travel insurance, I told him platinum card has travel protection, dont need to waste money and anyway its only 5 day!

K:For what? Im not going to die there. Only 4 days!
M:Want to bring camera?Come and take the camera. Maybe no need your friend will bring. Right?
K: Silence
M: Right?
K: Can u stop talking?

Come one im already 23! I guess they would follow me along if they can. Dont nag at me already I will bite you! Sorry its that time of the month.

Anyway still no job for holidays....Gonna live off the 2 Kaypohs. (Ok maybe im in a foul mood today)

Exams Ciao!

Its been almost a month since I last blogged. Im not dead yet lah! At least not now. Just finish my last exam yesterday; which started 2 weeks ago.

Exams weren't really that bad considering the fact that RMIT papers wont change much in format. Much like doing the 10 year series for O levels. Alot of controversy for the law paper because the lecturer told us choose 5 out of 8 for our exams, but on the actual day, I flipped the questions and got confused ' why only 5 questions' . We all kena tua!

But I managed to do my questions with 20 minutes left looking around. Looking at the pathetic guy beside me fumbling with his textbooks. Kudos to my intelligence( hahaha kidding)

Anyway talking about this guy sitting beside me. Hes a big fucker Viet 4 eyed dwarf. Keeps the phone in his pocket during exams. I thought ' it is considered cheating to bring phones to exam venues?'. He was on the phone right after the papers were collected. Fucker. On 2 days. I so wanted to complain him and see him in the same semester next year. But showed him mercy. Newspaper reports also said that Singaporeans dare not step out to see the wrong being fixed, guess im typical.
