Mr Grumpy

Im in a grumpy mood nowadays. PMS? Menopause? Anything goes. I barked at both my parents already woof woof.

There was this uncle who called and in a loud voice 'AH-LOH! Looking for who who who" in hokkien. I was silent because I was trying to decipher the message. Then he repeated again in that harsh tone. I replied in Mandarin " Who you looking for?" Then there was silence again. Finally he admitted he called the wrong number. I said " Cheebye" and hung up.

On the train home, there was this group of PRCS standing in a row blocking my way when I wanted to get out from the train. They were trying to get in. So when the door opened, I stood there and expect them to know how to let passengers out first. They froze also. Dumb ass! Finally there was a little hole that I could squeeze out. I didnt care if my shoulders or bag hit them. I let out a loud 'tsk!'. MORONS!

I hate the secondary school students who listen to their MP3 on their hand phone, fucking noisy. And people who walk too slow and block my way when climbing up or down the overhead bridge. People who smoke and let their smoke float into my face.

Thus im already an expert at rolling my eyeballs up! Champion!

Spring Cleaning Part I

Start spring cleaning by clearing my wardrobe of old clothes. Definition of old clothes : Clothes I will never wear again. Although some are presents, nice, new or expensive but I cant afford these thoughts to hinder me.Have to vacate them from my space.

I actually thought of selling them on this Lime flea market like how Vivian did it before, but its a chore to book the space, register,set up and bring home the unsold material.

Gina told me she is collecting old clothes,bags,toys and newspapers for the Salvation Army so I thought it is a good chance to clear my stuff.

My Mum insists that my Dad wants some of the clothes and she can wear some to sleep. But she has tonnes of clothes, some from the 1980s . I doubt her lor.

Once I won a teddy bear in a lucky draw and told her to give it to my 4 y/o cousin. When I wanted to bring it to her 1 Sunday, Mother said bring it next time shes not home today.End up I found it in the living room a year later. Now my cousin is in P1 already.

Sames goes to the new Mp3 player,thumb drive,Bally purse( now in kitchen because I gave to her in the kitchen). So much junk. I'm going to sell away the MP3 player to cash converters get some cash.

Clearing my drawers tomorrow.

Kenny's going to JKT for good. Married and can stay in big bunglow but too bad she doesnt know how to play mahjong. Im very happy that day because everybody is there, just nice no flights for 4 of the girls.

I would like to take this opportunity to thanks Vivian and Gina for helping me out when I was down. And Ferrene for finally being truthful. No need to hid la we dont laugh at you. :)

The next time I see them maybe CNY? Well i hope its soon.

Kenny's wedding was AMAZING!

The wedding was held in Shangri la and I got trouble getting there because I haven’t been there for quite sometime and my direction to that hotel is blurred by time already.

Let’s start with food.

3)Baby Abalone with Spinach and Tofu















4)Steamed Fish (Don’t know what fish)
5)Crispy prawn and scallop in mashed taro
6)Roast chicken with some kind of nut and Basil

8)Mango Pudding (YUMMY!)

I can remember everything clearly because it’s truly special. The food was delicious and the wedding photos are like pages from some wedding magazine. Normally when I go to relatives' wedding i will think in my mind "Aiyoh why the wedding photos look like tat......nothing special’. But yesterday, I was awed by what I saw, truly spectactular and it has an MTV as well. Makes everybody want to get married soon.

The speech by Ferninand made everybody teary eyed. He spoke about his relationship with Kenny having known each other for 9 years and par-tor-ing for 5 years.

I will try and get photos and show you guys. Anyway I was just in time for dinner so didnt take photos during cocktail serving.

Insomnia is Back

I cant sleep again. Its so early already and im still not sleepy. Took some sedatives already waiting for it to take effect so im here blogging. Just now i was looking at some of my childhood photos to past time.

There was this photo of my cousin feeding me jelly. And I remembered when I was about 4-5 years old, my uncle had a bull dog. I dont know the name but I can remember a fat bull dog. My favourite pasttime is feeding him. So I fed him whatever I can lay my hands on ,Chocolate,Jelly,Sweets,Biscuits,Ice Cream etc. Now I know why its a FAT bull dog.

And after having my own pet dog when I was a teenager, I found out that dogs cannot take chocolate because it will raise their blood pressure and they will get heart disease. And I think thats why the bull dog died. I cant remember missing that dog because when my uncle said it died, he did not have any emotion, so did I. Thus I went on to do other kids stuff like dig earthworms to scare my cousin ,ransack my uncle's drawer or asking for money to buy ice cream.

I'll try and sleep again, will be meeting Kafai at gym tomorrow. Hope I will be there and not in my bed.

Thats how much I have left in my bank account now. Talk about being broke, I guess I won Josephine . No $ for transport have to keep asking my Mum for money. Im gonna have $2 lunchs in school and dinner at home everyday until I get my Jimmy Neutron paycheck, which most of it will have to go toward paying credit card bills. Really no idea what I've spent on.Furthermore CNY is late next month. I still got to tahan for soooo long to smell some bank notes. Damn!

Overconcerned Relatives

I was at my Grandmother's place today and my Uncle chatted abit with me. He was asking when I finish NS. He may seem insincere,but I dont know what level his kids are studying at also. Its not my business.

I replied that im already in University and going to graduate this May.So he ask what I was studying, "Er Economics".

"Why choose Economics?"

I told him I got no idea so study for fun,better that marketing. I think he's trying to say Economics is useless by asking where im going to work after graduating. Saying that I will be stuck in Banks forever.After that he persuaded me to get another Degree so next time got chance to be Chief Financial Officer.

But then, take another Degree for what? Waste time I told him. Might as well go get CFA if im really interested. Your smart but then im not you what, my Mum dont poke her nose into my affairs and why should you? In a mocking manner somemore, at least from my point of view.

I told him I dont need to climb so high to be a CFO because I know I dont have that ability. Just enough to get by will be good for me. Throughout the conversation I was shifting my eyes to the TV to stop the chat but he kept asking, end up I walked away.

Hes not a bad guy la but I just dont like people running my life. You already had your life why wana take mine as well? Im no puppet. Even if I end up homeless also not your problem. Thanks.

Pre Christmas Party

I know its long post dated but who cares? Im not a newspaper editor. Dinner was at Sizzling Rock @ Boat Quay. Quite sometime ago already cant remember, briefly we went there because XT wanted to eat western food and that place is having 1 for 1 with my credit card. Came up to $18 a person inc taxes and appetisers.

Its not filling because there was no rice, I picked the salad for health reasons but ironically I was also the one gorging on Christmas Log Cake later.

Boring RMIT lectures

I hate introductory lectures....I dont want to know the history of stock markets, I only want to know how to use them. Its so damn dry lor, not engaging at all. Sam and Ivan are snoozing in the lectures. Wow look Reena posing so pretty! Wee-u-weet!Class on Saturday. Im going give interview this comming weekend a skip because of the fear they might turn me away because I still got 4 months before I can officially start.
