Spent $200 odd at Isetan private sale yesterday. 4 shirt so 1 spread out the cost evenly, although one juz cost $19.Sam, Ivan and Edwin didnt buy anything. Last sale also like that. Its either they are not the type that shops or im impulsive shopaholic.

Boring day.........Going to NATAS tomorrow with free entry. See any cheap deals to go for a holiday.

2 bad tests in a row

Damn pissed when I stepped out of test venus and Peifen asked if I saw this extra 50 MCQ questions that some people have. I read it, and god!60% of the questions are from there! Why didnt I have it! Felt so pissed. But Peifen is worst la, can tell from her face. She memorise 100 of those questions that didnt come out, poor girl.

The lesson learnt today:

"Improve your networking. Its fucking important"

If i know people who had it, I would have had it as well.

Meet up with 4F

Met up with Rosalind, Sarene and Huiling to celebrate Huiling's birthday. Actually not really celebrate, but just like another festival, eg mooncake festival, we dont celebrate but we take the opportunity to get together.
Short history lesson, we were from 4F 1999 Ngee Ann Secondary School. Friends until now.

Sarene just had her braces done, after much thought.




Flashback 2 years ago at Huiling's 21st birthday. How time flies...

Yeah I forgot to describe the trip. Lazy!

1)We met up in the evening at borders where I bought books with my 30% discount voucher.

2)Headed to Bendemeer to have Tian Wai Tian Fish Head Steamboat. Its actually just steamboat with fish meat plus other side dishes. Got to queue very long and get use to bad service.

3) No coffee because HL doesnt drink coffee and we are too full to have desert. Full as in super full, I finished up all the food (the usual me). My car was circling in city hall area and proceed to pretend to send them back home but I went to East Coast Park where we found a bench to sit down and chat. With free music from the bar and 2 for $2 starfruit drink.

See so simple right? Thats all I have to say. End of report.

Weiling Birthday 2006

Summary: 2 Weeks ago,celebrating Weiling's birthday. Very good at math during secondary school= now shes an accountant= no life+ v rich. In our group,1 engineer,1 tax woman,2 teacher,2 account and finally 1 STUDENT! Me! It sucks, not having money to spend as you like. Have to consider so many things before making a purchase.
2 shots taken at Fish n Co. Absolutely love the calamari and fish and chips! But I cant take too much squid and prawns, so Ironic!

Had cake and coffee at TCC shaw, see the birthday girl go crazy when we sing birthday song. I will also because damn paiseh if people sing birthday song for me, somemore in a quiet and public place. Anyway she paid for the drinks and cake, I think not cheap. Thanks. 

Whats with MSN and tortises?

Anyway im planning to go to Siam Reap in November. Anyway went there before? I need information on where I could get a guide in Angkor and travelling between temples.Thanks.

Ya la eating free food. Eh the laksa not bad leh. Bo bian lah im hungry and there is food! Ferrene mother say I funny. Ya la so gian bing thats why funny. Guess which product is made from which factory?

While on the train back from school, there was this guy next to me talking to his companion.

Guy: Why you girls so vain?Go for facial,manicure,buy clothes.

Girl: You mean guys not vain meh?

Guy: Guys dont need to look good la. Whats the use of looking good?Because in the working world its talent that counts, not looks.

Girl: True, but ummmm........Ok. But if u got to choose between a pretty girl and an ugly girl to work, you sure choose the pretty one.

Guy: I would choose the one who is more hardworking.And if the company will choose the pretty one, Id rather not work there.Anyway Singapore girls so superficial nowadays, choose a wife also difficult, dont want to give birth,dont want to cook. The best is China and Vietnam women. Very diligent.

In midst of the conversation, I turn n look at him, ya la look so simple. I can describe them as geeks, both the guy n girl. And I think the guy is really very dumb because the truth is, looks plays a major part in interviews. I would surely employee beautiful staff because its a perk to working and clients too. You only get to know about the working attitude after some months in working there la dey. You think your face got the 'Im more hardworking than him' tatoo?

And how come he likes China and Vietnam girls? Getting a wife or a maid? Yah I dont think he can get any Singapore wife, belittle women in Singapore and so the most he can get is foreign girls from a matchmaking agency.

How pathetic this guy is. I feel so sorry for him.And his companion, I dont know why she agreed on everything he said. No opnion of her own.

Anyway in the afternoon train, theres this little kid sitting next to me. He was echoing the train stations and annoucements then suddenly, he farted, very loudly! Aiyoh I dont know how to react. Really funny. The Mum told him to say excuse me, and he did. Not his fault la but maybe at his age he dont feel paiseh. I try sooooo hard to control when I want to fart ok! Saying excuse me doesnt help in the society coz they cant pretend you didnt fart.And its embarrasing I tell you.
