I had asked SIM to provide script books for your workings. In mostcases given that the questinos were all worth only 1 or 2 marks for eachqn, the workings were not relevant. The marking guide providesstudents with the opportunity to still get marks for parts of questions even though some the questons in some instances had a flow on effect.This was deliberate. I think the standard of the paper is higher than in past years only because it tests students understanding not onlytheir ability to calculate. I weill take on board the problem thatscript books were not provided to you and adjust the marks if necessarywhen the entire SIM cohort of students have had their papers marked.
